resolved!

(takluyver, thank you for bringing up the issue with the forums. Let's make that 
a different ticket. The solution will be different. I agree with the goal of 
making that happen!)

The current effort is to use GitMediawiki to make manual cleanup easier.

Vandalism problems are definitely a serious problem on our wiki. Jessica, thanks
for filing this ticket.

Looking at http://openhatch.org/wiki/Special:RecentChanges , we get 0-10
vandalism edits per week. That's actually something a human can deal with, so
long as that person receives notifications and acts on those notifications.

I'll subscribe to the RSS feed, as per willkahngreene's suggestion, and just
make sure to respond to the RSS feed contents daily... done.

I'll mark this plan as need-review and just personally take responsibility for
being the anti-wiki-spam person.

Now, I will say -- if someone else wants to take this job from me, that'd be great!

I've gone ahead and removed the current crop of wiki spam as far as I can find.

We had vandalism problems with mediagoblin wiki. I ended up setting up
rss2email, pointed it at the RecentPages rss feed, and now get notified of any
changes to the wiki. Thus I can remove stuff as it happens without having to be
proactive about checking.

I don't know offhand if that'd be useful for you folks or not, but it's working
for us currently mostly because we don't have a ton of changes.

The thing I want to do soon is set up an IRC bot to monitor our wiki changes and
tell us on IRC when they happen. That's more of a crowd-surfy solution.

I got an alert about User talk:Jesstess3 getting created with bogus content:
