What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. html page with an image on a server that requires authentication but the page itself does not, e.g. a local copy of the page. 2. attempt to generate pdf or image without supplying authentication 3. wkhtmltoXXXX will abort even though missing images are not considered valid reasons to abort (this can be tested with a page that has img tags but the sources for the images are broken) What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expect to see page with missing/broken images. Instead the program aborts (and wkhtmltopdf hangs while image exits) with no pdf or image. What version of wkhtmltopdf are you using? $ ./wkhtmltopdf.exe --version Name: wkhtmltopdf 0.10.0 beta5 on windows server 2008

What steps will reproduce the problem? When try to create a pdf from multiple html files all entries from toc have the same fonts size even if in html files have different header values (H1, H2, H3) For example wkhtmltopdf toc file1.html file2.html file3.html file.pdf where in file1 I have H1 for title, in file2 I have H2 for subtitle and in file3 I have H3 for subsubtitle In the final pdf all titles from all three pages have the same font instead of decreasing the font for H2 and H3 accordingly If a put to content of file2 and file3 in file1 and generate pdf from file1 the output of toc is ok, ie. font of H2 is smaller than H1 and font of H3 is smaller than H2. What version of wkhtmltopdf are you using? `wkhtmltopdf --version' wkhtmltopdf 0.10.0 rc1 (If the issue is with wkhtmltoimg please specify the wkhtmltoimage tag) On what operating system? Windows version/ Linux distro (uname -a) Kubuntu 11.04 Linux MORJO 2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:50 UTC 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Please provide any additional information below. I have summary file where is a lot of statements. I'd like print it in duplex and problem is, because sometimes statements have odd numer page and last page is print on first page next statement. Is it possible to do in wkhtmltopdf?

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. make a link to the file in the same folder <a href='file.pdf'>Next file</a> What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I'm making a set of PDF files linked to each other. Using HTMLDOC I was using the link in the way described above and after convertion I was able to jump from file to file inside of the pdf reader. wkhtmltopdf is adding the full local path to the directory where the original html file is located, converting the link to the file:///path/file.pdf, which will not work at any other location Right now I'm parsing the pdf file and remove unnecessary part of the path. What version of wkhtmltopdf are you using? `wkhtmltopdf --version' wkhtmltopdf 0.10.0 rc2, the same happens with b2 version, which I'm using as it doesn't have problems with gif files and is able to keep internal links on one page. (If the issue is with wkhtmltoimg please specify the wkhtmltoimage tag) On what operating system? Windows version/ Linux distro (uname -a) Windows 7 x64 Please provide any additional information below.

A feature wish ... When using "wkhtmltoimage" from some other program I like to check the stderr messages. Currently this contains output which might look like this: --- [> ] 0%^M[======> ] 10%^M[==================> ] 30%^M[===================> ] [> ] 0%^M[===============> ] 25%^M[============================================================] 100%^MDone Exit with code 2 due to http error: 404 Page not found --- It would be nice if there were a parameter like --quiet or --verbose 0 or --no-progress-bar to suppress the fancy progress-bar. Just wondering if wkhtmltopdf has a hook that allows you to dump the html that it has retrieved from the website prior to pdf conversion. It would be nice to have that html as it has parsed the javascript and all ajax-like calls.

I think it would be nice if you had a maximumLoginTry command line option. Right now the maximum number of loginTry's is hard-set on this line: src/lib/multipageloader.cc~: } else if (loginTry >= 2) { Would be nice if it could be dynamic. I had to deal with a website with a kind of flaky authentication system, which sometimes would prompt me 3 or more times for a login. I'm not much of a C++ programmer, but I don't think it's so hard. I'm willing to contribute patches to allow this option if you want me to.
