I was trying to save and had an error on one of my cards. Looking at the Exploration Overview, I could not navigate to the card to fix the error. See attached. ![bug](https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/14113573/9803479/db87cdcc-57d7-11e5-926b-248c4c5d8fde.JPG)

    Load the Welcome exploration, go to the learner view, and submit a response. While waiting for Oppia's response to appear, the loading dots look really big, and they stack on top of each other when visible. This behavior occurred using Chrome on Mac (reported by @amitdeutsch) , but I couldn't reproduce this using Chrome on Linux. These screenshots illustrate the issue. The second and third dots should not be so large -- they should really be the size of the first dot. ![screen shot 2015-09-15 at 3 38 10 pm](https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/10575562/9892576/2430657a-5bc5-11e5-82ee-e9ef1317ce2b.png) ![screen shot 2015-09-15 at 3 38 11 pm](https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/10575562/9892577/257e6d50-5bc5-11e5-9e2b-c0813210c1da.png) Notes to contributors: 1. If you use Chrome on Mac, could you please check whether this is reproducible, and report what you find as a comment on this issue? We should make sure this isn't a problem that's specific to a particular machine. 2. With regards to coding, the places to look at are `conversation-skin-feedback-dot-one` and similar classes in the `extensions/skins/conversation_v1/player.html` and `extensions/skins/conversation_v1/static/conversation.css` files. The heights on these dots are set explicitly in CSS rules so it's unclear why they would look so big in the browser.

    The JSRepl project, which we depend on for client-side Python code execution, has been [deprecated](https://github.com/replit/jsrepl/blob/master/README.md). In addition, the Python interaction is currently failing on Chrome (but not Firefox) with the error ``` sandbox.js:39 Uncaught RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded ``` We should probably move to a different client-side code execution library for Python. Possibilities include: - http://www.skulpt.org/ - https://github.com/brython-dev/brython

    Load the Welcome exploration, answer the first question, then enter several wrong answers for the "What language is Oppia in" question. Click the "Previous responses" header. Two things should happen: * The rightwards arrow should rotate 90 degrees and point downwards. Currently the transition is instantaneous. * The previous answers will expand downwards from this header. This should animate, similar to jQueryUI's accordion expansion.

    In Python 3, SoundLoader does not seem to be able to handle file or folder names with non-ASCII characters: ``` from kivy.core.audio import SoundLoader #... *** self.current_sound = SoundLoader.load(sound_path_list[0]) File "C:\Backup\WinPython-64bit-3.3.2.3\python-3.4.3.amd64\lib\site-packages\kivy\core\audio\__init__.py", line 69, in load return classobj(source=filename) File "C:\Backup\WinPython-64bit-3.3.2.3\python-3.4.3.amd64\lib\site-packages\kivy\core\audio\audio_pygame.py", line 47, in __init__ super(SoundPygame, self).__init__(**kwargs) File "kivy\_event.pyx", line 271, in kivy._event.EventDispatcher.__init__ (kivy\_event.c:4933) File "kivy\properties.pyx", line 397, in kivy.properties.Property.__set__ (kivy\properties.c:4680) File "kivy\properties.pyx", line 429, in kivy.properties.Property.set (kivy\properties.c:5203) File "kivy\properties.pyx", line 484, in kivy.properties.Property.dispatch (kivy\properties.c:5852) File "kivy\_event.pyx", line 1168, in kivy._event.EventObservers.dispatch (kivy\_event.c:12154) File "kivy\_event.pyx", line 1074, in kivy._event.EventObservers._dispatch (kivy\_event.c:11451) File "C:\Backup\WinPython-64bit-3.3.2.3\python-3.4.3.amd64\lib\site-packages\kivy\core\audio\__init__.py", line 147, in on_source self.load() File "C:\Backup\WinPython-64bit-3.3.2.3\python-3.4.3.amd64\lib\site-packages\kivy\core\audio\audio_pygame.py", line 85, in load self._data = mixer.Sound(self.filename) pygame.error: Unable to open file 'C:/Users/mcurrie/Desktop/GitHub/Lanki\\media\\Thaiสีเหลืองสีเหลือง.wav' ``` It looks like `pygame` is not properly treating the path as unicode. It looks like it's doing something like using the `unicode_escape` string literal representation of the path, as in: ``` In [1]: thai_string = 'สีเหลือง' ...: thai_string.encode('unicode_escape') Out[1]: b'สีเหลือง' ``` Note that `Image` works fine with non-ASCII characters. If `image_path` contains non-ASCII characters, the following works fine: ``` from kivy.uix.image import Image #... image = Image(source=image_path) ```

    The Chmod action requires a numeric for the mode. For a long time now the chmod command has processed string modes so the user does not have to remember or look up the numeric values. The Chmod action should allow for the string mode specification.

    The following raised on the email lists was responded to with a number of replies saying "its a bug", hence this issue. I am seeing a difference in behaviour of SCons (Subversion Trunk) on Ubuntu 8.10 and Mac OS X 10.5. In the SConscript (well actually a subsidiary SConstruct but I don't think that matters) I have: environment[ 'CXXFLAGS' ] += '-O3 -W -Wall -Wundef -Wcast-align -Wno-unused-parameter -Wshadow -Wredundant-decls' This works fine on Ubuntu but fails on Mac OS X. On Mac OS X I have to have: environment[ 'CXXFLAGS' ] += [ '-O3' , '-W' , '-Wall' , '-Wundef' , '-Wcast-align' , '-Wno-unused-parameter' , '-Wshadow' , '-Wredundant-decls' ] which also works fine on Ubuntu. Now in some sense the latter is clearly more correct, so the question is whether it is a bug that the former works at all on Ubuntu. Thanks.

    With the exception of --cache-debug=<file>, none of the flags that control the cache subsystem take a value. Instead of a clutter of flags, combine them into one form: --cache= so there are only two command-line flags. After this is implemented, the --cache- flags should be deprecated out.
